Joan E. Elmeier

Joan E. Elmeier died on March 11, 2026. She was born on January 6,1934, in Gary, Indiana to Donald L. and Antonia (Antoinette) Banker, who along with her brother Donald J, preceded her in death. She had a long and full life and was also preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Elmeier in Pittsburgh and her second husband Lewis Meyer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is survived by 3 generations of her loving family who hold many memories of joy and laughter with her.

Funeral mass will be held at St. John Capistran Church, Resurrection Parish, 1610 McMillan Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241 on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:30 am, followed by internment at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at 1:00 pm.  Arrangements entrusted to WM.
