23, of Pittsburgh, on Friday, November 1, 2013. Beloved daughter of Matthew and Clare Ann Ansberry-Smith; sister of Pete and Eli Smith. Maternal Grandmother Coletta Ansberry of Rocky River, Ohio, and the late Jay Ansberry, the late James H. and Berta W. Smith. Also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends who will mourn her passing. Jessie was a free and loving spirit, and a generous and devoted friend. She loved to entertain her friends at her home in Duquesne Heights, had a quick wit, ready laugh and a keen sense of humor. An avid runner, she completed the Pittsburgh Marathon this year. She grew up in Mt. Lebanon, attended St. Anne School in Castle Shannon and a graduate in 2008 from Seton La-Salle High School, where she ran cross country and played lacrosse. She attended Dusquesne University and was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. After a year, she left to start a career in retail fashion, starting with Talbots, moving to The Loft and most recently at J. Crew. Friends welcome Monday 1-3 and 6-9pm at William Slater II Funeral Service, (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:00a.m. in St. Anne Church, Castle Shannon.
