70, of Pittsburgh, on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Beloved husband of Margaret Pamela Schmider Whalen; son of the late Jefferson A. & Norma A. Whalen. Loving father of Jefferson A. (Linda) Whalen III & Kellie (Kevin) Laurenzi. Brother of George (Chris) Whalen, Richard (Kathy) Whalen and Denise (Ron) Kanai. Dear grandfather of Jefferson A. Whalen IV, Garrett Whalen, Brady Whalen, Mia Laurenzi , Mara Whalen & Ava Laurenzi and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who will mourn his passing. Mr. Whalen was a member of S.S. Simon & Jude Church, a partner of JKJ Services, former employee of Oxford Development Company with 21 years of service, and a 50 year member and past Business Agent of I.U.O.E. Local 95.
