Jarrell B. "Jerry" Smith

Age 86, of Mount Lebanon, Pa., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on March 9, 2021. Beloved husband of 47 years to Suzanne Smith. Son of the late Fred and Lillian Smith of Trinity, North Carolina. Beloved father of Janet (Bob) Benson, Ronna Novice (Scott Humphries), Kenneth (Kouy) Novice and the late Steven Smith. Loving Papa of Jesse, Megan and Lyra. Jerry attended Lees-McRrae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina for 2 years, before finishing his education at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his degree in Retail Management. Following school, Jerry joined his uncle's furniture business, Becks Charter Oaks, in Green Tree, Pa., where he became the Vice President and General Manager. In 1977, Jerry started his own business, Interior Designers Services, in Carnegie, Pa., where he worked until his retirement in 2000. In retirement, he and his lovely wife Suzanne traveled all 50 States in their motor home.
