Janis Marie Walker

Age 75, of Banksville, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth (Hubert) Hawranko; loving wife and soulmate of 32 years to David J. Walker; beloved mother of Stacey Beauregard (John), Eric Thomas (Nikki), Sharon Caye (Julius), Michael Thomas, Brian Walker (Bobbi Jo), and Matthew Walker (Lisa); cherished grandmother of Taylor Rose, Ryan, Lauren, Jackson, Braden, Austin, Ava, Jordan, Sean, Eric, Emma, and Taylor; and sister of Anthony Hawranko (Betty), Michelle Sobek (Ken), Gary Hawranko (Beverly), Dale Hawranko (Marie), Cheryl Hawranko, Jimmy Hawranko (Lisa), Lisa Gustashaw (the late Richard), Ruth Dinkel (Jim), and the late Michael Hawranko. Janis is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends. 

She worked for over 20 years at Burns, White, and Hickton.  Janis loved making people happy, and you could always find her in the kitchen cooking or baking. She had the biggest heart and was kind to everyone she met. Janis enjoyed her trips with her husband, Dave.  She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
