Janet Taylor Jain

Janet passed away on Sunday, October 24, 2021, age 78. Born in Pittsburgh on August 16, 1943, was a graduate of Ohio State University, was fluent in eight languages, had friends all over the world, and is missed by all. Janet was preceded in death by her mother, Celesta S. Walker; father, William Carik; and stepfather, Richard C. Walker. Janet leaves behind with fond and loving affection, her son, Christopher Conn Taylor, residing at Verland in Sewickley, PA, whom she lovingly shared her devotion. She also leaves a sister, Wilma J. Harris of Sarasota, FL; a brother, Andrew C. Walker (Marie) of Fenton, MI; and many, many cousins. Janet was aunt to David S. Carik, Terri L. Starr and Donna Fanos. Great-aunt to Johanna, Luke, Jaime and Trinity. Great-great-aunt to Ryan, Emmett and Martie. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 10 a.m. St. Paul Cathedral; or you may join via Zoom, ID: 9590432809, Password: Slater. Light refreshments will be served immediately following the Memorial Mass at Janet's Condo, 144 N. Dithridge St., PH 4. Please RSVP. susanlew@verizon.net.
