Jane B. Slater

Age 90, of Scott Twp., on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Beloved wife of Hank for 66 years; loving mother of Pamela (Floyd) Barr, Jeffrey C. (Mary Jo) Slater; grandmother of Sarah Jo Slater; sister of Raymond (the late Mary) Bower and Howard (Doris) Bower. Jane spent close to 60 years volunteering at Woodville, Kane, and Kane Scott Hospitals. She has traveled to all 50 states, and many foreign countries. Charter member of Covenant Community Presbyterian Church and also member of Hill Toppers and Perrymont North AARP #2291. Friends welcome Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., where Funeral Service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery on Bethel Church Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jane's name to Heartland Hospice, 750 Holiday Dr., #110, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
