Jane A. Kropf

Age 96, of Mt. Lebanon, on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Wife of the late Victor J. Kropf, Sr.; beloved mother of Jane Lee (Fred) Lash, Kathy (Kevin) Dorrian, Victor James Kropf, Jr. (Lynn Baltich) and Debbie Sue (Vince) Russo; loving grandma of Michael Prescott, Kelly Prescott, Candy DeMatte, Kasey Dorrian, Kelly Dorrian, Julianna Russo, Rienna Russo, Victoria Russo and Dan Hersh; cherished great-grandma of Mathew, Rachel and Hayley; sister of the late Bud Averman; also survived by nieces and nephews from the Keevil and Averman families. Jane was a graduate of Perry High School where she was valedictorian. She was an accomplished seamstress studying to be a dress designer until she gave up her aspirations to raise a family. She also was a ballet dancer in her younger years and her love for dance stayed with her the rest of her life. She absolutely loved her summers in the Adirondacks ("the mountains"), but church, family and Holiday gatherings were her focus as she believed in hard work, a respect for others and always maintained a positive outlook on life.
