James Leo Woodring

Age 69, of Scott Twp, formerly of Oakland, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. Beloved husband of Eileen (Koch) Woodring; son of the late Gladys (Roe) Woodring; loving father of Kimberly (Paul) Moran Pillage, Victoria (Sam) Tornabene, Jeffrey (fiancé Darcy Latta) Woodring, and Megan (Ian) Cummins. Brother of William (Nancy) Woodring and Michael (Diane) Woodring. Loving Pap of Hope, Joey, Natalie and Lucas. Jim worked for many years as a private jewelry salesman and then for CYF Allegheny County, from where he retired. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master's in Psychology. He enjoyed taking drives, telling stories, watching the Price Is Right, going to the movies, eating (olives especially), but he mostly loved spending time laughing and being surrounded by his family.
