James F. Petley

Age 72, of Upper St. Clair, on February 22, 2024.   Beloved husband of Kathleen.   Loving father of William and Elizabeth Petley.  Dear brother of Katherine Zwier, Patrick (April) Petley, Sue (Dick) Grubar and the late Michael Petley.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard & Mary V. “Bonnie” Petley.  James was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and will be truly missed by all.   Jim was born and raised in Beaver, PA, and graduated from Pitt and Duquesne Universities.  Jim had a life-long career in sales and retired as a successful business owner.  He loved his backyard tomato garden, neighborhood walks with his dogs and spending summer vacations at the family cottage at Lake Louisa, Canada.  Family and friends are welcome, 3-6 p.m. Sunday, WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp., 15220, (412-563-2800).  Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Grace Church, St. Michael the Archangel Parish.  (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Ave., Pgh., PA 15212.  www.slaterfuneral.com
