James E. "Ted" Magill

Age 93, of Bethel Park, on Saturday, April 2, 2016. Beloved husband of 66 years to Rita (Maio) Magill. Son of the late James Edward and Camilla Geon Magill. Loving father of Kathleen Magill, Linda Magill, James (Janet) Magill, Richard Magill, Marita (Doug) Eddy, and Megan (Wesley) Wallace. Brother of Marcella Reed. Brother in law to Nancy Magill. Grandfather of James, Joni, Sean, Andrew. Mr. Magill was a charter member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Retired institutional food salesman and retired Commander in the United States Navy. Having been awarded numerous awards he was especially proud of his Distinguished Flying Cross and 3 Air Medals. He was active in his church by serving in Holy Name, as a Proclaimer, Eucharistic minister, St. Vincent DePaul and community affairs, and was a Democratic Committeeman.
