James J. Hughes

Age 84, of Allentown, on Sunday, December 9, 2012. Beloved father of James J. Jr., Bernice, Jill, Richard, and the late Leo and Regina; brother of Jack and the late Raymond and Thomas; also survived by his family and friends at the Post-Gazette. Jim was affectionately known as Santa Claus. Friends welcome Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WM. SLATER & SONS INC., Virginia Ave. and Kearsarge St., Mt. Washington, where a Blessing Service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park.
