81, of Scott Twp, formerly of Baldwin Twp, on Friday, June 13, 2014. Loving husband of Rosemary Lee (Weet) Hoey. Son of the late James Neal and Mary Catherine (Donahue) Hoey. Devoted father of James H. Hoey, Jeanine M. Hoey, and Thomas P. (Lisa) Hoey. Brother of Mary Elizabeth (late Jim) Walsh and Roseanne (late Owen) Corrigan. "Grandman" to Tuesday N., Zachary T., Matthew P., and Emily N. Hoey, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Hoey was a parishioner at St. Winifred Parish, a 1952 graduate of Central Catholic High School, 1956 graduate of Carnegie Tech (now C.M.U.) with a degree in Civil Engineering. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan having enjoyed the Steelers, Pirates and Notre Dame football. Friends welcome Monday and Tuesday 2-4, 6-8pm in William Slater II Funeral Service (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00a.m. Wednesday in St. Winifred Church. In lieu of flowers donations suggested to St. Winifred Church, 550 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Pgh, PA, 15228-2699.
