James J. Furey

92, of Bethel Park, on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Beloved husband of 65 years to the late Alice Claire (Merrick) Furey; son of the late Thomas and Margaret Morgan Furey. Dear father of James P., Michael J., and Gerard V. (Vanessa) Furey. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Special niece Alice Marie Brogan and daughter in law, Stephanie Passaro Furey; many other extended relatives and friends who will mourn his passing. Mr. Furey was a proud U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and graduate of the University of Scranton.
