Jack Flaherty

Age 94, of Green Tree, on Friday, March 10, 2017. Beloved husband for 73 years of Vivian R. (West); devoted father of Kathleen (Neil) Toomey, Michael Flaherty (Terri), Beth Ann (Sal) Filardi, Patricia Flaherty and the late Dennis Flaherty; cherished pop of Michael Toomey, Megan Toomey (Chuck) and Tara (Ron) Domenico; beloved great-pop of Jack, Kate, Matthew Mickle and Gianni, Ava, Nico Domenico; brother of the late James Flaherty and son of the late Patrick Flaherty and Irene Moyer; also special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Jack was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He worked for 30 years for NCR Corporation as a Pittsburgh District Sales Manager. He was also a 40-plus year parishioner of SS Simon & Jude Church. Jack was an avid reader and an accomplished oil paint artist. The family would like to thank the staff and friends at Vanadium Woods and Broadmore Senior Living.
