Age 89, of Bethel Park, formerly Chicago and Port Charlotte, FL. Beloved husband of the late Jean B. Blachley (McEvoy); loving father of Robert (Belinda) and the late Jack H.; grandfather of Barb (Ted) Delbridge, Kristi (David) Pahel, Jack and Gabrielle; great-grandfather to Taylor, Ainsley, Collin and Lila. Jack served in the US Army, WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Friends welcome Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS (412-835-1860), 112 Fort Couch Rd. (opposite Macy's South Hills Village). Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 a.m. St. Thomas More Church.
