Ira J. Ungar, MD

Age 67, of Peters Twp., on Saturday, February 3, 2024.   Beloved husband of Beth.  Loving father of David (Srilaxmi), Aaron, and Lauren Ungar.  Dear brother of Bruce, (Melissa), Leslie (Faye), and Joel (Gail) Ungar. Preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Hilda Ungar.   Ira was a physician for many years in Cleveland and Pittsburgh hospitals.  He was a devoted member of Beth El Congregation and was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and friend.  Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024 in Beth El Congregation, 1900 Cochran Rd., Scott Twp., 15220.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to MS Society or Beth El Congregation.  The family is accepting visitors at their home from 1pm to 3pm each day, from Tuesday, Feb 6th through Friday, Feb 9th.  Religious services will also be held at the home at 7pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.   Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, Scott Twp., 412-563-2800.
