Helene Marie Brandy

Suddenly on Saturday, May 20, 2017, age 25, of Coraopolis and until recently, Upper St. Clair, was tragically taken from us in a kayak accident. Helene is the very loved daughter of Kathie Benz Brandy and Bruce A. Brandy; cherished granddaughter of Heidi and Joe Benz, Jackie and John Komidar, and the late Ruth and George Brandy. She is also survived by her loving brother, Nicholas J. Brandy; and her soulmate Ryan Luketic; and her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.Helene graduated from Upper St. Clair High School and was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She was a competitive gymnast and a Pitt Cheerleader. She was recently employed at Dick's Sporting Goods, a job that she loved, in the Human Resource Department. Helene was a beautiful, sweet, talented, energetic young woman that loved life, Ryan, her family, and friends, her two cats, Notorious and Abby, and her sweet dog, Lola.
She was looking forward to her best friend, Raylynn Porco's upcoming wedding as her bridesmaid. Her creativity knew no bounds from her beautiful handmade gifts to her baking skills and delicious, clever Hors d'oeuvre. She could light up a room just by walking into it and she was the bright light in all of our lives. She will be forever in our hearts an dearly missed. Memorial donations are being accepted by the family.
