Helen C. Witte

Age 89, of Mt. Lebanon, on Monday, December 16, 2013. Loving daughter of the late William and Caroline Witte; sister of William C. (the late Emma) Witte and Lois Witte (Arthur L.) Walters; loving aunt of Glenn Walters, Carole (Alexander) Troy, Cheryl (Timothy) Smith; and many beloved great-nieces and nephews. Helen was an exceptional violinist and one of the first women to play for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, where she played under Fritz Reiner. She also performed in the Florida Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Light Opera.
