Helen (Merkel) Dugan

Age 103, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Laurence Dugan; loving mother of Mary Beth (the late Edward) Blackwood, Michele (James) Kraus and Ralph E. (Donna) Dugan; predeceased by nine siblings. Also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. During WWII, Helen worked for the Army Map Service and participated in the production of invasion maps for our armed services. She spent more than 20 years researching and developing her family's German genealogy and expressed her artistic talents through oil painting and watercolors.
