Age 99, a long-time resident of Scott Township, passed away on September 30, 2024. Wife of the late Joseph Banyas Jr. Mother of Judy (Bruce) Klink , Barbara (the late Steve) Bass, and Joe (Cindy) Banyas. Grandmother of Aaron Klink, Brad Klink, Lisa Banyas, Ben (Katy Holt) Banyas, Callie (Gene) Salem, Cassie Bass, and Sean Bass. Great-Grandmother of Emmett Salem.

Helen was a retired secretary from Chartiers Valley School District. She was a loving person who was an inspiration to so many, especially her family. Visitation on Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 2 to 8 p.m. at William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township, 15220 where a funeral service will be held on Monday, October 7 at 11 a.m. Entombment at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen’s memory to the charity of your choice.
