Gwen Brogan

Age 55 of Green Tree, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 11, 2023. Beloved Wife of 10 years to David W. Karbowsky. Loving Mother of Elijah J. Kajinic and Emma A. Kajinic. Beloved Sister of Lorrie Hoefling, Seth (Rebecca) Dawson, Flannery Mellender and Jenifer Dawson. Loving Sister in Law of Diane ( the late Jack “Robin”) Hoenshel. Also survived by Nieces and Nephews. Gwen was the founder and driving force behind The Wednesday Night Supper Club and was a member of The Hash House Harriers and also a dedicated Nurse that loved the outdoors, a good beer (Gwen’s Flight), but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday 12-3:00 pm WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220, where a celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 pm. Burial will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Partners in Health (pih.org).
