Age 25, of Mount Lebanon, on Friday, April 24, 2015, after courageously battling a brief illness. Beloved daughter of Terry Lyskava and Rose Anne (Woolsey) Lyskava of Mount Lebanon; sister of Claire Lyskava of Mount Washington. Grace was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elsie Lyskava, Thomas Lyskava, Margaret Woolsey, and Edward Woolsey. She will be missed by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, and especially by her devoted caregiver and companion Debbie Perkins. Born September 26, 1989, in Somerville, NJ, Grace moved to Mount Lebanon and began her education at the age of 2 at the Western Pensylvania School for the Blind Children. Following her graduation, Grace transitioned to the school's adult program, Learning Adventures for the Visually Impaired. Grace's life was enriched by the WPSBC faculty, her classmates, and the school's comprehensive programming, including music, art, dance, horticulture, adaptive sports, and family support. A member of St. Bernard Parish in Mount Lebanon, Grace enjoyed Pittsburgh's museums, libraries, sports teams, and cultural events. She loved the simple pleasures of being read to, taking long walks, and listening to the laughter and conversations of others. She was engaging, curious, funny, resilient, and brought out the best in everyone who knew her.
