Gloria Crofford, born in Clarksburg WV, was the youngest daughter of second generation Italian immigrants. She was raised on family values of faith, hard work, and selfless charity. Her love of academics earned her a full scholarship and the opportunity to be the first of her extended family to attend college. In married life, she resided in Pittsburgh, PA, dedicated to her loving husband Robert Crofford Jr. and children Lori, Robert III and Matthew, who gave her eight wonderful grandchildren. Her professional career was focused on small business finance, ending as secretary of a family owned entity, LRM, Inc. In her final days, she enjoyed spending time with her family and loved being with her grandchildren. Gloria's small town charm was evident with a constant smile and positive outlook. A long time battle with Parkinson's disease never slowed her down, thanks in part to being an early beneficiary of pioneering treatment. In return of the love, respect, and admiration she always had for others, her friends and family pray for Gloria in eternal peace with God.
