Gertrude M. Gourley

Age 92, of Greenfield, on Thursday, August 28, 2025. Beloved daughter of the late Stella Wieczorek and Anthony S. Longo. Beloved wife of the late Owen F. Gourley. Loving mother of Lisa (Kathy Fitzgerald) Gourley, Elaine (Charles “Bussie”) Wilson III, and Jeffery (fiance Heather Ann Cowell) Gourley. Grandmother of Chastity M. and Sarah Ann Wilson. Great grandmother of Terry Charles and Terra Grace Summers. Sister of Patricia A. Drury, and the late Margaret (Edward) Haley, Thomas F. (Elsie) Longo, and Anthony M. Longo. She was the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews, and had many special friends.

Gertrude was a proud, longtime member of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers International Union (BCTGM). While she was employed by Nabisco, she met her loving husband of 52 years, Owen. Gertrude also worked in the candy and bakery industry. She retired at a young age to raise her family.
