Geraldine "Jerri" W. (Palombia) Cavalovitch

Age 92 of Mt. Washington, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Beloved Wife of the late Charles P. Cavalovitch. Loving Mother of Chuck (Matt) Cavalovitch, Judy (the late Ed) Moskovitz, Jerry ( the late Michele) Cavalovitch and Christine (Steve) Pilarski. Cherished Nana of Ed (Jayme), Michele, Corey, Courtney (Jimmy), Caitlin (Jon), Travis, Taylor and Kara. Loving Gigi of Bradey and Aiden. Beloved Sister of Florence (Bob) Barth, JoAnn (the late Jim) Zanotelli and the late Patricia (surviving spouse Bill) VanKirk, Peter J. Palombia, Samuel J. Palombia, Jr. and Grace Mastandrea. Jerri was a longtime Allegheny County Employee where she held various positions. She served as State Democratic Committee Woman for over 40 years and became a Delegate at the Democratic Convention in 1968 as the first Female elected in the City of Pittsburgh and was elected a Delegate up until 2008. Jerri held various positions in the Allegheny County Democratic Committee. Funeral Mass Friday 10:00 am in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary of the Mount Church. Burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
