Age 80, of Upper St. Clair, on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Beloved husband of Mary I. Raupp. Dear father of Gretchen Raupp and Gerald L. Jr., (Colleen) Raupp. Loving grandfather of Louis & Thomas Raupp-Yurcho and Marin, Lillian & Gerald L. III Raupp. Brother of the late Eric Carlson and Sr. Clarice Carlson.

Jerry was the proud owner of Nelson Engineering Sales Company for many years. His professional journey was made even more meaningful by working alongside his son, Jerry Jr., creating not only a successful business but also a lasting legacy of dedication and partnership.

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Jerry cherished time spent with those closest to him. As avid travelers, Mary and Jerry spent time traveling the world. He was a long-standing member of St. Clair Country Club for over 45 years. There, he found great joy in golfing and sharing moments with Jerry and Gretchen. He was also a member of the Duquesne Club, where he and his wife enjoyed many special times together.

Jerry’s crowning achievement in life was becoming a grandfather. He would often be seen on the golf course with his oldest granddaughter Marin. On the baseball field or working around the house, Pa and Louis spent countless hours together. Thomas brought Pa pride with his performance on the football field and basketball court. Lilly, his “Little German Girl” held a special place in his heart with her sincerity and free spirit. He never missed the chance to spend time with Gerald III, his name sake and birthday buddy.

Jerry’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on through the lives he touched with his warmth and unwavering commitment to those he loved.
