George E. Rommler

Age 82, of Beltzhoover, PA, on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Son of the late George and Margarete Rommler. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Helen Katzner, Elsie McCafferty, Lillian Rommler, and Mildred Rommler; survived by a niece, Patricia (Larry) Merhaut; and nephews, C. Ronald (Suzanne) McCafferty and G. Richard McCafferty; and many grandnieces and nephews. George was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and retired from the Steamfitters Local Union 449. Friends welcome Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., (412) 381-3345, Virginia Ave. and Kearsarge St., Mt. Washington. A service will be held at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow in East Smithfield Cemetery.
