George J. Hill

George Hill, age 79, of Shaler, Pennsylvania, passed away surrounded by family early on Sunday, March 31, 2024. George is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Sally (Ferrier) Hill, their children Natalie, Paul (Lena), and John, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George is predeceased by his parents, George and Virginia Hill.

George was an alumnus of Point Park University. He dedicated his career to serving his community- he was a lifelong member of the Elfinwild Fire Department as well as a founding member and chief of the Shaler Township Fire Police. In his spare time, he loved to go hunting and fishing. George and Sally have spent the last 3 decades enjoying the warm weather in Land of Lakes Florida where they currently reside.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
