Gail Crawford Reid, 56 of Upper St. Clair, died peacefully in her home on August 8th, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Thomas and Doris Crawford of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Gail was born on August 20th, 1956. She was a 1974 graduate of Mount Lebanon High School and a 1978 graduate of Shippensburg University. She was passionate about living life to the fullest. Described by friends as 'larger than life', Gail could light up a room with her smile. She loved her family, soaking up the sun and listening to music in her courtyard garden, and all things Steelers and Penguins. She was the loving mother of Andrew William Reid and the cherished wife of Gordon M. Reid. She is survived by three sisters: Dianne, Linda, Karen, and her nephews and nieces: Richard, Jeff, Kate, Adam, and Christopher. She is also survived by three stepsons and their families: Ken, Matthew and Rebecca Reid; Tom, Julie, Alex, Meghan and Zachary Reid and Alan, Karen, Colin, Caitlin and Tyler Reid. Memorial services will held at Southminster Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 23rd at 11:00 am.
