JENKINS G. RONALD "RON"
Age 87, of Scott Twp., on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Son of the late George and Clara Jenkins; beloved husband of Judy (Belmont); dear father of Jeffrey (Peggy), Kevin (Mary), Dan (Amy) and Terry Jenkins; loving grandfather of Alyssa (Aaron) Ramsey, Ryan, Jeffrey, Samantha, Megan, Edward, Connor, Julianne, Jack, Mary Kate, Timothy, Tyler and Lucy Mae Jenkins; brother of Gary (Barbara) Jenkins and the late Carol (Kenneth) McGowan; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Ron was a graduate of Adrian College where he played football and a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He was a US Army Korean War veteran. Ron retired after 35 years as a teacher with the Pittsburgh Public Schools. He was a lifelong Steelers fan and was an avid coach and fan of his children and grandchildren's activities and sports. Friends welcome Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220 (412-563-2800) where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow with honors in the Natioanal Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
