Francis T. "Bud" Johns

Age 89, of Banksville, on Thursday, February 4, 2021, peacefully and surrounded by his family. Son of the late Francis T. & Stella Johns Sr. Beloved husband for 61 years of the late Eileen Kenney Johns. Dear father of Kathleen (Late Rock) Rauterkus, Michael R., David B., Daniel K. Johns, Karole L. (Rob) Kaupinis and the late Mark F. Johns. Loving grandfather of Matthew (Denise) Johns, Jenna Johns, Hannah, Tia & Luke Kaupinis, Rocky & Claire Rauterkus and the late Abigail Kaupinis. Best Pop ever to Nadia Johns. Brother of the late Richard (Teady) Johns and beloved cousin of Maureen Wagner. Bud was a proud 70 year member of the Plumbers Union Local 27, a 60 year member of SS Simon & Jude Church, a longtime Democratic Committee member of the 20th Ward and a Central Catholic HS Graduate, Class of 1949. He was a gentle man who loved his family dearly and always a good Manhattan.
