Eva J. Genday

Age 95, of Brookline, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1928 to her parents, Theodore Demianczyk Sr. and Mary (Harkus). She was predeceased  by her husbands, Robert Genday, William Hawrelak and her daughter Gloria. She is survived by her children, Son David Hawrelak, Daughter Cynthia (James) Gormley, Granddaughters, Tawnya (Naman) Chaurasia, Samantha (Daniel) Zorn, Great Grand Grandchildren, Leo and Luke Zorn. Eva had many jobs during her life, but the one she was most proud of was working in a factory to aid in the World War II effort. Eve enjoyed reading and watching mystery stories, family gatherings, working in the garden, decorating and her cat Zoe. She will be missed by her family and friends. Funeral mass Saturday 10:30 am St Teresa of Kolkata Parish, Resurrection Church, 1100 Creedmoor Ave. Pittsburgh 15226. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
