Eva J. (Colosimo) Caye, age 84, of Pittsburgh, passed peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Sunday, February 23, 2025.
She was the wife of the late William “Billy” Caye; daughter of the late Eugenia and Julius Colosimo; and sister to her late brother, Frank (Fayanne) Colosimo of Greenfield. She is survived by her two sons, William F. Caye II, along with his two sons, Billy and Adam; and Julius Caye (Sharon) and along with their children, Lauren and Austin. She was the aunt of the late Ronald Colosimo and Kim (Clay) Spencer and her daughters, Sydney and Isabella Kasper.
Eva worked in the Civil Courts and legal community originally with the late Jim McCardle firm and then in the Orphans Court Division. She also worked for the late President Judge, Paul R. Zavarella. Eva was a proud union member of the Teamsters Local 249.
Eva was a sports enthusiast attending her children and grandchildren’s games and was a great cook entertaining many family and friends on holidays and numerous special occasions. She learned to cook from her mother and the nuns at Duquesne University in the priests’ kitchen and dining hall.

Interment in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be private.
