Eugenia "Jeanne" Chambers Stoner

Of Bethel Park, PA was born to eternal life on April, 1, 2016, age 74, born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late C. John Chambers and Eugenia "Jean" Schmitt Chambers and the much loved sister of Connor Chambers, Marguerite "Meg" Gottschalk (John), Mary Elizabeth Carroll (Charles) and the late Peter Damian Chambers and Anne Gerard Chambers. She was the beloved wife for 48 years of William "Bill" Stoner of Bethel Park, PA and the mother of Mary Grace Stoner, Bethel Park, PA, John Charles Stoner (anupama jain), Pittsburgh, PA, David William Stoner (Julie), Mt. Lebanon, PA and Anne Elizabeth Harvey (Paul) Harker Heights, TX. She is survived by eight grandchildren, Breanna and Joseph Stoner, Bethel Park, PA Sarah, Connor and Sean Stoner, Mt. Lebanon, PA and Emma, Cora and Allen "AJ" Harvey, Harker Heights, TX. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She received a BA from Clarke College (IA) and a MA from the University of Maryland at College Park. Returning to school at age 42, she received a JD degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Highlights of her career include directing federal government relations for UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh. In 2013, she retired from the university as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Federal Government Relations.
