Age 65, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018, peacefully at home surrounded by dingleberries, er...uh...family - proving to us all that cancer can be more stubborn than even him. Eugene had no choice, but to leave behind his "one true love" of almost 32 years, Gina (Casciato), and his spectacularly fantastic (and really, really good-looking) children - whom he was extremely proud of and loved dearly - including "former favorite daughter" Tracy (Chris) Robison, "current favorite daughter" Jill (Chris) Whalen, Eugene "never gonna be the favorite daughter, but luckily turned out super awesome anyways..." and Andrea "the secret favorite daughter". He was a loving "Pap" to grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Alex, Nicholas, Emma, and Jace - (some people say no...); and great-grandson Maddox. Dogfather to the late Bailey, and Granddogfather to L.B. Eugene was the eldest of four children, and will be deeply missed by siblings Steve (Sandy), Anna (Dave) Fees, and Anthony. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Tillie. He was son-in-law of Audrey Casciato and the late Bob Casciato. He also leaves behind many Brothers and Sisters-in-law, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends...too many to name here, but you all know who you are and how he felt about you. He was a master craftsman, and many were lucky to have him help with their projects, both professionally and personally. Some are fortunate enough to have displays of his talent and passion in their own homes, while others get to enjoy many of his other - let's call them "unfinished" - projects. You rarely had to pay him, but it would cost you just enough beer to get the job done right! While discussing funeral arrangements and how he wanted to be remembered, Eugene reminded us that he wasn't really a suit and tie kind of guy and asked that everyone feel free to "wear whatever makes them comfortable."
