Eugene Michael Romah

Eugene "Gene" Michael Romah, 82, passed away at home after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was born February 24, 1934 to Alex and Adelle(Marpes) Romah in Pittsburgh, PA. On April 3, 1954 he married Mary Louise Snynsky. Gene was a proud Marine after graduating from Central High School in Pittsburgh.
Survivors include his wife Mary Lou; his son, John Romah of Chesterland, OH, and 3 daughters, Yvonne Mendolia(Allan) of Cooper City, FL, Cynthia Bichler(Thomas) of Pittsburgh, and Sharon Crawford(Jack) of Lower Burrell; 8 grandchildren Jerod Mendolia, Mary Cerminara, Alexander Bichler, John Romah Jr, Joseph Romah, Jennifer Douglas, Thomas Bichler, and Steven Bichler; and 5 great grandchildren; a sister Evelyn Koury of Pittsburgh and a brother, Alexander Romah of Pittsburgh; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Eugene.
