79, of Bridgeville, on Monday, November 11, 2013. Beloved husband of Margaret Lengyel McElhinny. Dear father of Mary McElhinny, John McElhinny, Terri (Patrick Bills) McElhinny, and James (Natarsha) McElhinny. Brother of Sam (Pat) McElhinny; Loving grandfather to Christine, Jill, Matthew, Rosie, Finn, Nicholas, Luke and Jacob McElhinny. Gene was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Pirate fan, but most of all he loved and enjoyed his loving wife, children and grandchildren.
