Age 85, of Mt. Washington, on Monday, July 1, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Dolores; dear father of Karen (Rich) Golembiewski, Delores Perdue, Jennifer Chambers, Debra (Joseph) Benkovich, and James (Rita) Yeckel; grandfather of Nick, Vanessa, Benjamin, Cecelia, and Phillip; also seven great-grandchildren; brother of Harold Yeckel. Ernie was a US Navy Korean War Veteran and retired from J & L Steel. Friends welcome Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WM. SLATER & SONS, INC., (412-381-3345), 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington 15211, where a Blessing Service will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
