Ernest L. "Ernie" Fullerton

Age 74, of Mt. Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2018. Beloved husband of 47 years of Christine (Trombetta) Fullerton; loving father of Laura A. Fullerton; cherished Papa of Jason N. Turney and Scott A. Turney; beloved son of the late Ernest L. Fullerton, Sr. and Marie (Farina) Fox; beloved brother-in-law of Robert (Cathy) Trombetta; loving nephew of Anita Sunseri; also survived by many cousins. Ernie spent 34 years in law enforcement. He was the coordinator for the IUP Municipal Police Officers Training Academy. After retiring from the State, he became the Director of Academic Affairs at the University of Phoenix and later became its campus director. He taught at the University of Pittsburgh for 28 years as an adjunct professor for the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. He served as Chairman of he Mt. Lebanon Republican Committee for 12 years and was the committeeman for the 1st Ward. He served two years in the US Navy with the Naval Security Group in San Francisco.
