Age 90, with the family gathered, died peacefully, on Sunday, October 5, 2014. Much beloved wife for 71 years of William B. Davis; loving mother of Susan Ryals (Wes), Beverley Trautman (Ken) and Leslie Holmes (Ray); cherished grandmother of Amy Churchill (Scott), Kelly Fiorentini, Michael Trautman (Lisa), Matthew Trautman (Sara), Kathryn Holmes, Alexander Holmes (Kaitlin), Mark Ryals (Amy), and Kenneth Ryals (Elaine); also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Claire Antle. She was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and George Stalter; and two brothers, Ralph and Richard Stalter. Erma will be remembered for many wonderful things that she accomplished in her long life, but, most of all, for the love, time, and talents she showered on her family. She left us examples of wisdom, faith, and courage. There will not be a day we do not think of her. We would have chosen no other.
