Erika Lynn Forsberg

Erika Lynn Forsberg, 30, of Robinson Township passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, May 31, 2026 after a brave but grueling battle with cancer. Born on November 29, 1995, she was the beloved daughter of Donna & Scott Ruta and the late Erik J. Forsberg. Erika was the loving sister of Olivia Thompson, Bre Ruta, Lexie (Sean) Seretti & Trevor (Kaley) Ruta.Cherished granddaughter of Carol (the late Donald) Mike, the late Frank McCreary, Pamela Forsberg & Forrest W. Forsberg, Jr.Treasured aunt of Keegan, Willow, Brody, Trevor Jr. & Dorothea. Beloved niece of Dina & Sal Digati & Mari (Pat) Murphy; special Great niece of Janet (Trent) Denison; also survived by cousins Derek & Dylan Digati.In addition, Erika is survived by many other cousins and extended family. Erika was talented, driven & kind and was building a successful real estate/investing career that had just begun to flourish. She had a passion for traveling from sea to shining sea and everything in between. Erika was a self-proclaimed "Foodie" and was always on the hunt for the next great meal. Erika was also an avid cat lover and is survived by her fur-kids Pretty & Dot. Friends will be received, Wednesday, June 3, 2026, and Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00 - 8:00 pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp.,15220. (412) 563- 2800. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will take place on a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Moon Township.
