Emma A.(Liotus) Roell

Age 80 of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Bernard C. Roell Sr.; loving mother of Bernard C. (Jennifer) Jr., William C. (Mary), Robert C. (Tina) and Carl M. (Kim) Roell; cherished Grandma "Ma" of Bernard C. III (Hannah), Sarah A., Melissa, Stephanie, Katherine, Ryan, Matthew, Mark, Nicholas and the late Christopher W. Roell; great-grandma of William; sister of the late Gus, Pete, George, and Alice Liotus; beloved sister-in-law of Richard W., Tom (Barb), Paul (Judy) and the late Joseph J. Roell; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Emma was a wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched so many with her unique personality. She never hestitated to speak her mind and always helped others in need. Family and friends welcomed Friday 2-8 p.m., at WM. SLATER & SONS INC., (412-381-3345) 301 Virginia Ave., Mt. Washington, 15211. Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Mount Church Saturday 10 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Anne Cemetery.
