Elizabeth (Moretti) Persiani

Age 94, of Mount Lebanon, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 3, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Mario Persiani; loving mother of Linda M. Persiani and Lorraine Persiani; loving Nonni of Elizabeth M. Halvorsen and Jospeh R. Mihalic III; cherished great-grandmother of Maria and Hayden McGee; beloved sister of Raymond Moretti and the late Erma Caiuzzi. A special thank you to Agnes Oino for her love and support in caring for Elizabeth. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Elizabeth enjoyed reminiscing of her childhood growing up in Italy. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed preparing Sunday dinners for her family, always put family first and everyone's needs before her own. She looked forward to her winter vacations in St. Petersburg, FL with her husband Mario, over the years. She had a strong Catholic faith. Elizabeth spoke and wrote Italian fluently and would correspond with family in Italy often. Her love of music, classic movies and entertaining at home with friends and family always brought her pleasure throughout the years.
