Elizabeth E. Lane

Age 95, originally of Carnegie, on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Beloved wife of the late James W. Lane; daughter of the late Louis Egri and Elsie (Rebak); loving mother of Cheryl (Tom) Ursitz and Gary Lane; dear grandmother of Lisa (Ron) Loncharich and Laurel (Scott) Baker. Betty was a former secretary at the Pentagon during World War II, secretary at First Presbyterian Church, secretary to Rev. John Huffman, and later secretary to the Dean at Shadyside Academy. She was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, but mostly remembered as being a selfless and wonderful mother and grandmother.
