Edwin F. Weis

Age 91 of Scott Twp., on Saturday, September 3, 2022.  Beloved husband of Carol J. (Tomasic) Weis.  Dear father of Lorraine (Fernando) Ascencio and the late Jeffrey E. Weis.  Loving grandfather of Antonio, Miquel, Ellian and Estefano.  Brother of the late Charles, Harry, Billy and Elsie.  He was a tender and compassionate husband, a supportive father, and a man who cared for his grandchildren by sharing his Godly wisdom.  He had a passion and talent for everything that he did including landscaping, carpentry, photography, and acrylic painting.  Ed was best known for sharing his fierce faith in Jesus.  He was a very selfless man who daily demonstrated his love for Christ and others.  Family and friends are welcome Wednesday 5-7 p.m. WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday.  Interment private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, jfcj.org, 303 East Wacker Drive, Suite 2300, Chicago Il 60601-5224.
