Edward R. Schafer

Age 52, of Crafton, formerly of Mt. Washington, on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Beloved son of the late Jacqueline and Arthur Schafer; father of Brittany; dear brother of Marie Scott, Mark, Bill (Kathy) and the late Todd Schafer; also many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, aunts and uncles; longtime friend and caregiver Joey Hanis. Eddie was heroic and courageous in dealing with a longtime battle with a spinal cord injury, paralysis and disability. He overcame it all by living an independent life and enjoying every moment.
