Edward A. Rudaitis

Age 72, of Pittsburgh, on Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Shadyside Hospital after a long battle from a debilitating stroke. Son of the late Edward A. and Pauline (Mastroianni) Rudaitis, Sr.; loving brother of Barbara A. Rudaitis; adored niece and godchild, Jessica Huff; dear uncle of Lori; beloved family Janice Huff; also survived by cousins, Roger and Carol, Toni and Joan, and many other cousins and friends, and his faithful friend, Mike. Ed graduated from Duquesne University in 1966 with a bachelor's degree. He was a longtime member of St. Paul's Cathedral where he was involved with Social Service Ministry, the Catholic Action League and the Eucharistic Ministry. Ed was a 4th Degree Knight of the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was past president and a board of director of Negley Condominiums and a member of the American Legion Post 577. Ed was a retired Air Force Captain and he retired from the Astro Nuclear Division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. after 30 years. At the time of his death he was employed with Giant Eagle Market District, Shadyside.
