Edward G. Kreutz Jr.

Edward G. Kreutz Jr., age 86, of Carnegie, formerly of Mt. Washington, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of Norma Jean (Lippert) Kreutz. Loving “dad” to Stephen, Angela and Tim (Trudi) Foglia. Cherished Pap-Pap of Brittany (Daniel) Yates and great granddaughter Daphne, Shannon (Michael) Pennell and great granddaughter Noelle Pennell. Loving brother-in-law of JoAnn (Lou) Mendys and the late Evelyn and Joseph Sciallo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ed proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Rochester CA124. He enjoyed bowling, working in the garden, remodeling the house, but mostly enjoyed being with family and friends. He was a very loving, caring and gentle person and will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends welcome Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Rd., Scott Twp. 15220 where a service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 am. Burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to : AHN Hospice Care, 200 Allegheny Dr., Suite 201, Warrendale, PA 15086 or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
