Edward P. Kinavey

Age 90, formerly of Green Tree, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 9, 2020. Beloved husband of 68 years to Nellie (Acquaro) Kinavey. Loving father of Debbie (the late Charles) Addleman, and Mark Kinavey. Cherished "Pup" of Jennifer Addleman, Jill (Eric) Ives, Nicole (fiance Zach Brodsky), and Colin Kinavey. Loving great-grandfather of Justin and Tyler Ives. Edward was proud to be a part of the Kinavey and Acquaro families. He enjoyed his family, armchair coaching all of the Pittsburgh sports teams, playing nightly gin games with Nellie, and telling long stories. He is looking forward to occupying table #1 eternally. Family and friends welcome Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE, (412-563-2800), 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Twp. 15220. Funeral Mass in SS Simon & Jude Church, Thursday 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 guidelines, everyone must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
